I am very new to the area and just moved here from NH. The good news yesterday was Action Sports was open, when most bike shops were not. The bad news. I came to get air in my rear tire. It was $3 for air. Most bike shops don't charge for air. I had just traveled 1500 miles and when he was putting air in the tire, he pointed out that my chain was dry and it had come off the sprocket. If I were the owner, I''d have asked right then if he wanted me to put it back on. Just a goodwill thing. But he could not be bothered. I found that to be poor customer service. And if he had wanted to charge me for it, I would have paid to have it done. The bike shop was dark, messy and cluttered. This morning, I found a bike shop with very nice people in Trinity called Trinity Bicycle. Service was excellent. Laura the owner and her assistant Al were great.They put my bike on the rack, untangled the chain, put it back on the sprocket and tested it for no charge. I then bought a bottle of synthetic Wet bike lubricant for my dry chain.
I brought my son's bike in for a tire repair. I was told it would only take 10 mins. to fix, so we waited. Great service!
