The best place to stay in the area. Stephanie was the best when we headed over to the bar. She was very attentive and made the best drinks. Completely turned our weekend around for the better.
This is my favorite hotel.Rooms very clean. Pool always clean.Staff is very nice and helpful. Very clean and quiet and relaxing.They have a amazing restaurant with great tasting food. Biscuits and gravy are awesome and Thier loaded nachos are the best.
This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. My family and I stayed in this establishment at the end of July 2017, the first room we were given was a non-smoking room that smelled as though the last person in there had smoked three cartons of cigarettes in the room, the smell of cigarettes in the room was so bad my wife could not stop gagging. I am an understanding person and I know that just because the room says non-smoking it does not stop people from smoking in them. I went to the front desk and requested another room which they were happy to set up for me. We checked into the second room and while there started to develop bug bites combined with intense itching, which we contributed to mosquitos and thought nothing more of it. After staying there our bites continued and the itching increased. After numerous doctor visits we were able to link it all back to our stay in this establishment where we had contracted bed bugs and brought them home with us. My wife then began researching this establishment more in depth and found multiple claims against this establishment and guests contracting bed bugs. I made a BBB complaint against the hotel and received a refund but when attempting to contact the hotel to get their insurance information for an additional claim, Jerry, the GM, was rude and showed an extreme lack of professionalism by telling me I should be happy he refunded my stay and I didn't deserve any additional claims against the hotel before hanging up on me. This hotel is unsanitary and the GM's customer service and professionalism is the worst I have ever experienced. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I spoke with a girl named “Asia”, and she was incredibly rude! She has a surly tone with me and treated me like I was the last person on earth she wanted to talk to. She clearly has ZERO people skills. She hung up on me mid-sentence, totally unwarranted! All I wanted to know was if the Hotel was hiring! Well, I’ll not be applying, and you shall have no business of mine! And I’ll spread the word.
Didn't have my room ready even though it was reserved. They were able to get it us in a room for two days before we got the room we originally reserved. This was during hurricane Irma - we were tired and homeless. Some of the staff was nice, others were quite snarky. Overall, the rooms were clean. Bathrooms very small - like no leg room. No breakfast (not even a bagel) was included in price of room. Asked for extra boankets two nights in a row, didn't get them - was just told they would "see if they had any" - second room we were in, the floor was sopping wet. It was on the second floor, so I know it wasnt from a flood. Restaurant food - unknown, all we had was fried options, again understandable to due hurricane. I am glad we had a place to go that was safe and secure. In a pinch, may visit again...if there were choices or to recommend a hotel to friends, it would not be this one. Customer service really needs to be revisited with some of the staff.
